Position: Survey Crew Chief
Description: I began my career as a Rodman and then was promoted to an Instrument Technician within the first three months. After my first year, I was again promoted to Crew Chief. I then became responsible for construction staking projects, both commercial and residential. My duties included supervising the crew, calculating points, creating point maps, performing boundary checks, topographic surveys, staking rough grade, utilities (water, sewer storm drain and dry utilities), curb, sub-grade and AB for roadways, as-builts, etc. I have worked both in the office and out in the field for the last 48 months, learning the proper techniques and rules for surveying in the State of Arizona.
